Hello Coaches,
Littleton Youth Soccer Club is offering a "live" G Course for coaching licensure right here in Littleton. It will be at the Littleton High School on Thursday, October 1st from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m. While this G Course is also offered online via the Massachusetts Youth Soccer website, the live course is more interactive and demonstrative. The $35.00 cost of the course is fully reimbursable by providing proof of payment and license.
You may register online for this course at the MYSA website: www.mayouthsoccer.org. Look for the "Coaches" tabs to find the course. The comprehensive list of all coaching courses can be found at the website too.
Also, the Soccer Board recently voted that anyone wishing to be named a head travel coach (beginning in the Fall 2010) to an incoming Under-10 team have his or her F License prior to the start of the season. So, plan ahead: If you want to coach in the Fall of 2010 (or anytime thereafter) and have no F license, you will need to get both your G and F licenses in order to coach. Littleton Youth Soccer Club intends to schedule the F Course for the late winter.
