Littleton Youth Soccer Club – January 4, 2017 Meeting Minutes

Board Members Present: Gary Austin, Pat Stearns, David Caouette, Bob Stall, Dan Fusco, Mark Hollinger, Bob Chrenc, Ted Doucette, Steve Bast, Tommy Proulx and Ryan Angel.

Gary Austin called the meeting to order at 7:30

December Minutes were approved.

Treasurer: No current report on the P&R account.  Approximately $15,900 in the booster account.

Travel:  Boys 3/4 = 41 registered with 4 teams of 10.  Could move to 5 teams.  Currently no registration cap

    Boys 5/6 = 52 registered with 4 teams

    Boys 7/8 = 20 registered with 1 team over the limit, currently no coach

    Boys HS = 5 registered.  We will look to move to other towns

    Girls 3/4 = 38 registered, 4 teams

    Girls 5/6 = 34 registered, 2 teams but probably 3 with a few more registrations

    Girls 7/8 = 16 registered, 1 team in rec with no coach yet

    Girls 9/10 = 15 registered, 1 team cap at 18

    Girls 11/12 = 1 registered, no team     

In-Town:  All good.  Late fees start March 1.  Teams not yet formed

Registrar:  No report.  Reminder late fee is capped at $50 per family and we will issue refunds if needed.

NVYSL: Rosters will also list grades, Bobby and Pat to work on.  

    State fees per registrant going from $11 to $14 for fall of 2018.  Probably about $2,000 hit for us.

    NVYSL team fees going back up.  MTOC playoff format stays the same.

    Pre-thanksgiving weekend Rec tournament went well, league looking to repeat in 2017.

Referees:  Recert reminder sent out and Tommy is pulling together a list of those who may want to get certified

Coach Development:  Jan 28 MYSA workshops for any interested (Great Wolf Lodge) Ted to get word out

    2017 Soccer Champions Coaches’ Clinic Feb 23-25 Mohegan Sun.  Coaches can get their E license!

Website – need changes to various pages to get them up-to-date.
