Littleton Youth Soccer Club – September 5, 2018 Meeting Minutes

Board Members Present: Tommy Proulx, David Caouette, Bob Stall, Brad Laing, Pat Stearns, Dan Fusco, Ted Doucette, Liz Shocklin, Jeff Raltz, Bobby Chrenc, Seth Landsman, Kate Grant and Mark Hollinger.

Tommy Proulx called the meeting to order at 7:34

No August Minutes.

Action Items from August: 

Still working on netting for NEPA side of Koerper

Priority Business:

Treasurer:  About $49k in operating account.  Income account $1,600 with another $21,300 in booster account of which $3.5k dedicated to fields

Registration:  PW = 60 kids, still trickling in.  Kinder is at 51 and still open.  G1/2 has 51 girls and 52 boys with 2 boys on the wait list.

  Travel: All set.  Boys E team games moving from St Anne to Middle School field.  League we site needs directions to field.  Still using St A for practices.

Referees:  2 poorly attended meetings.  Pat will try to come up with something to boost attendance

Snack Shack:  Still needs stocking.  Tommy to open on Saturdays and Pat to close.

NVYSL:  Go for the Gold lace sale $5 each.  $4 is supposed to stay local.  For Cancer.  Tommy will email coaches if they want to push this.  MYSA is still looking for teams for D1 or D2 Gr3/4 for the town select league.  Teams can play one or two games if that is all they want.  10 Cup and Len Bennett Chill are on.  Also a push to get teams to Pepperell for Columbus day.

Soccer Development  MYSA coming out with an outline for what the job is supposed to be.  We will try to embrace “Grass Roots” coaching at lower levels and keep teams doing it as they move up.
