In Town Report

IN TOWN (ACADEMY)

Pee Wee coordinator resigned need to find a replacement for the spring season

U8 – One U8 team did not win any games during the season.   The U8 coordinator needs to meet with the coaches before the spring season to rebalance the teams

Travel Report

Nothing discussed

Registrar

Registration is open for the spring season.  B/G U18 currently has the most registrations.  There are approximately 70 players across all age groups registered at this time.

Referees

The bill was submitted for the full season in the amount of $4101.Need to speak with the league as many referees were not of age and were unable to bridge to grade 8.  Littleton is not losing many of the older referees and did add 7 grade 9 referees so we need more referees bridged to grade 8.

In town referees were scheduled for 2 games and an observation.  In having them observe a game first aided them when they received their first official game assignment.  There wer fewer incidents with the in town referees in the 2nd half of the season.

NVYSL

There has been a team fee increase of ~ $50 per team for the NVYSL spring season

Snack Shack

Raised ~$1300.00 for the season.  The shed needs the doors replaced by the spring as they are in poor shape.

Equipment

Need signs at Koerper field stating no parking in front of the gate

New Business

P & R meeting – Park and Rec. voting on a $5 per child fee for all sports per season.  This will take effect in the fall of 2013.   The question arise is do we absorb the cost were fees were just increased or pass it on to the players.  It was decided that if it comes to fruition that we put a disclaimer on the registration stating why we increase the fee by $5 and pass the cost onto the players.

Meeting adjourned at 9:35 PM

Next meeting December 5th
